“Excellens” is the first font totally created using Microsoft…
“Excellens” is the first font totally created using Microsoft EXCEL 97.
The glyphs design was done using a standard EXCEL 97 worksheet, adding some border and diagonal color to draw the letters shape.
The final result is something that remind to the “Cholo Graffiti Calligraphy” used by Mexican gangs in Los Angeles, but in a new digital and elegant way.
You can download the Open Type font (Mac/Win) for free HERE
In the zip archive you will also find a folder that contains the original EXCEL 97 worksheets used to create the font.
